North County Dems look to take action
The Democratic Club of North Santa Cruz County will hold its next meeting July 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Scotts Valley Water District Community Room, located at 2 Civic Center Drive. The agenda will focus on taking action to resist the Trump administration’s efforts to shred our democracy. Club members will discuss ways to mobilize to defend human rights and democratic values. The club will also consider supporting candidates in congressional districts that can be flipped to take back the House in the 2026 midterm elections.
The discussion will emphasize that there are many ways for people to get involved and doing nothing is not an option. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
