



In observance of Christmas and the New Year, Boulder has announced closures and changed hours at city facilities and transportation services.
On Tuesday, Christmas Eve, the Flatirons Golf Course, the Boulder Reservoir, the city’s West and East Age Well Centers, and the South Boulder Recreation Center will be closed all day. However, the North Boulder Recreation Center and East Boulder Community Center will be open until 1:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, Christmas Day, all city offices, recreation facilities, the West and East Age Well Centers, the golf course and the reservoir will be closed.
On Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve, the golf course, the reservoir and the South Boulder Rec Center will be closed all day. The West and East Age Well Centers will be open until 12 p.m., and the North Boulder Recreation Center and East Boulder Community Center will be open until 1:30 p.m.
On Jan. 1, New Year’s Day, the city will use the same operating hours as on Christmas Day except that the East Boulder Community Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Christmas and New Year’s Day, parking at city-owned meters, parking lots and garages will be free. The HOP bus service will also run on its holiday schedule from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with buses arriving every 23 minutes.
