Drug Arrest with Prior Convictions: On June 7 at around 1:37 a.m., an officer made a traffic stop near the 100 block of Court Street and contacted the driver, 68-year-old Robert Goodall, of Davis. While the officer was writing a citation for the infractions, K9 Ricky arrived and conducted a sniff around the vehicle. In doing so K9 Ricky detected presence of a target odor. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located indicia of drug sales, including over one ounce of methamphetamine. A check of Goodall’s criminal history showed he had multiple convictions for drug-related offenses. Goodall was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for drug sales, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a drug arrest with multiple prior convictions.

Parole Violation Arrest: On June 10 at around 2:24 a.m., officers responded to a call for service at one of the businesses near the 1400 block of East Main Street. When they arrived, they contacted 71-year-old Michael Villescaz, of Woodland. A records check showed Villescaz was on CDC Parole and was out of compliance. Villescaz was arrested for the parole warrant. During a search, Villescaz was in possession of methamphetamine. Villescaz was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for the warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

Vandalism Arrest: On June 10 at around 7 a.m., officers responded to a call for service on the 1300 block of East Main Street where a subject broke a window at a business with a piece of wood. When officers arrived, they located 51-year-old Marco Sunseri, of Woodland — who was still holding the piece of wood. After further investigation, Sunseri was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for vandalism.

Thefts with Prior Convictions Arrest: On June 11 at around 6:27 a.m., officers responded to the location of the 600 block of McKinley Avenue to follow up on a report of an e-scooter that was previously stolen plotting in the area. Officers knew 37-year-old Adam Johnson, of Woodland resided in the area and had a history of being in possession of similar stolen property. Johnson was on searchable probation, as well. A probation search was conducted at the location and found the previously reported stolen scooter. As a result of the investigation, Johnson was arrested. A review of Johnson’s criminal history was conducted and showed he had multiple theft convictions. Johnson was booked at the Yolo County Jail for theft with prior convictions, possession of stolen property, and a probation violation.

HOST made 51 contacts and offered services to 16 individuals, 7 accepted service. HOST tagged 3 camps and cleaned up 7. HOST conducted 15 downtown patrols.

HOST contacted an unhoused individual within Freeman Park. The person was not known to the officer and was new to Woodland. In his conversation with her, HOST explained various ordinances in the City of Woodland that she needed to be aware of. She relayed to HOST she was not on a long-term stay and was on her way to Oregon. He provided her with some resources on how to proceed to her final destination — which she accepted. Since HOST has additional time and availability for situations like this.
