Christopher Berton Greiter, 37, of Boulder passed away on April 29, 2025 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He was born on October 11, 1987 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of William Greiter and Gay Hutto Greiter. He spent his early life in Yardley, Pennsylvania and Edina, Minnesota.

Shortly after his 18th birthday, Christopher moved to Colorado where he attended the September School. He was a data scientist with broad interests. He was enrolled for many years at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he pursued diverse undergraduate and graduate offerings in the humanities and in the sciences.

Christopher was one of a kind: deeply intelligent, passionate, and endlessly curious.

He was particularly inspired by the possibility of building a mathematical model of the human brain. He was anticipating his graduation from CU in the fall of 2026.

Christopher is survived by his cherished Huskies, Isaac and Kodak, parents William and Gay,stepmother Deborah, sister Elizabeth Parkes, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A celebration of Christopher's life will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 11:30 AM at Sherpa's Adventure Restaurant and Bar at 825 Walnut St. in Boulder.
