The Citizens’ Voice welcomes community news and photographs from community groups, service organizations, senior citizens groups, churches and nonprofit organizations. Items may be submitted via email to community@citizensvoice.com.

Submitted photos: Submitted photos must be large, high resolution JPEGs. Identify everyone in the photograph, by first and last names, from left, by rows. Photographs without identifications or with incomplete identifications cannot be considered for publication. Photos should be attached to emails; photos embedded in documents are not of sufficient quality for print.

Birthdays: Birthday announcements with a photo are run for free for children up to age 16 and for milestone birthdays for adults (80, 85, 90, 100 and over).

Weddings, engagements, and anniversaries: Wedding and engagement announcements are run free of charge within one year of the event in Sunday’s edition of The Citizens’ Voice. Anniversary announcements are run starting with the 5th anniversary and may be run each year thereafter. Announcements should be accompanied by a photo of the couple when possible. Photos should be high resolution, submitted as a JPEG, and include both members of the couple.

All other birthdays for adults and anniversaries for non-milestone years may be run as ads by contacting the advertising department at 570-821-2037.
