



Steph Curry scored 11 straight points in the fourth quarter and 31 for the night as the visiting Golden State Warriors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 113-103 on Saturday night.
Trayce Jackson-Davis had 15 points and nine rebounds, while Brandin Podziemski had 12 and Curry — who made seven 3-pointers — added 10 assists for the Warriors.
What a difference two days makes. On Thursday, the Warriors allowed Memphis to set a franchise record with 27 3-pointers in a 144-93 drubbing in Memphis but held Minnesota to 41.9% on the night.
Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo led Minnesota with 19 points apiece. Rudy Gobert had 18 points and 12 boards for Minnesota.
CELTICS 123, BULLS 98: Jayson Tatum scored a season-high 43 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and dished out 10 assists for his third career triple-double and visiting Boston beat Chicago.
Kristaps Porzingis scored 22 points and Jaylen Brown added 19 to help the Celtics rebound from a 117-108 loss to the Bulls in Boston on Thursday night.
Nikola Vucevic scored 19 points and 10 assists to lead the Bulls.
CAVALIERS 126, 76ERS 99: Darius Garland scored 26 points and Evan Mobley had 22 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists, sending NBA-leading Cleveland to a victory over visiting Philadelphia.
Donovan Mitchell had 19 points for the Cavaliers, who are 25-4 for the top record in the league. The Cavaliers improved to an NBA-best 16-1 at home.
Tyrese Maxey scored 13 of his 27 points in the third quarter for the 76ers.
Philadelphia center Joel Embiid, who has a sinus fracture and knee soreness, did not play the second game of a back-to-back set.
MAGIC 121, HEAT 114: Cole Anthony scored 27 of his 35 points in the second half and host Orlando tied its largest comeback in franchise history to beat Miami after trailing by 25 points.
The Magic also trailed by 22 entering the fourth quarter before outscoring the Heat 37-8. Their 25-point comeback ties a mark set on Nov. 8, 1989 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Bam Adebayo and Terry Rozier led the Heat with 23 points each, and Tyler Herro added 22.
GRIZZLIES 128, HAWKS 112: Desmond Bane scored 23 points and visiting Memphis, without star player Ja Morant, beat skidding Atlanta.
Morant was ruled out with low back soreness before Saturday night’s game.
De’Andre Hunter led the Hawks with 26 points.
The Hawks were also without their own star in Trae Young, who was ruled out before the game with a right heel contusion.
SPURS 114, TRAIL BLAZERS 94: Victor Wembanyama scored 30 points and tied a career high with 10 blocks as host San Antonio rolled to a victory against Portland.
Wembanyama added seven rebounds while sitting out the final 8 1/2 minutes of the fourth quarter with the Spurs headed to their largest margin of victory this season.
Wembanyama is the first player with four 3-pointers and 10 blocks in a game in NBA history and the first player under 21 with multiple games with double-figure blocks since the league began keeping track of blocks in 1974.
Shaedon Sharpe scored 25 points and Anfernee Simons had 18 points for Portland.
KNICKS 104, PELICANS 93: Jalen Brunson scored 29 of his season-high 39 points in the second half to power visiting New York to a victory over New Orleans.
The Pelicans, who lost for the 15th time in its last 16 games, were paced by Trey Murphy III with 26 points. Dejounte Murray added 14 points for New Orleans.
THREE PLAYERS FINED: Utah’s Jordan Clarkson was fined $35,000 by the NBA on Saturday, and Detroit’s Ron Holland II and Paul Reed were also penalized for their roles in an altercation between the Jazz and Pistons.
Clarkson received the largest penalty for escalating an on-court altercation and throwing his headband into the stands after being ejected. Holland II was also cited for escalating the altercation and fined $25,000, while Reed was penalized $15,000 for initiating it.
