Spectacular shots
Jim Wilson aced the 6th hole at Butte Creek over the weekend.
Wilson hit a perfect, 158-yard, 5-iron tee shot into the cup, as witnessed by his playing companion, Betty McGregor.
Wilson didn’t admit as to how many holes-in-one he has had, but I suspect it’s in the double figures.
Junior Golf
Sixteen-year-old Morgan Pittman tied for fourth with a two-day score of 154 in a recent Junior Golf Association of Northern California tournament at Franklin Canyon golf course in Hercules, California, in the 16-18 age division. Pittman shot 74 on the 6,000 yard course the second day of the tournament for the low round that day.
