Unreleased Jimi Hendrix songs are among an array of memorabilia belonging to the late musician that is set to go up for auction next month.

For the first time, fans will be able to bid for various personal items that reveal more about Hendrix’s musical endeavors and offstage life, according to entertainment memorabilia vendor Propstore, which is hosting the auction.

Among the items are 50 rare tapes including master recordings with unheard tracks, as well as personal paperwork such as payslips for him and his bandmates, a handwritten form in which Hendrix requests his birth certificate, dry-cleaning bills and tour itineraries.

“When we first had the opportunity to explore this archive, we were immediately captivated by the depth and significance of the material,” Mark Hochnam, Propstore’s Music and Poster consultant, said in a press release.

The livestreamed London auction will take place Nov. 15.

basketball honor comes as a shock to Spike Lee

Spike Lee got a photo with Larry Bird and a technical foul from a Hall of Fame referee.

Not a bad first trip to basketball’s birthplace to pick up an honor he didn’t know existed.

The filmmaker was added to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s superfans gallery. He had been to baseball’s Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, and loaned some items to basketball’s, but never made his way to it until being told he was being honored for his passion for his New York Knicks.

“Here’s the thing, though. I didn’t even know this thing existed,” Lee said. “So it was a complete shock when I got the phone call.”

Lee joined Jack Nicholson, Philadelphia businessman Alan Horwitz and Billy Crystal in this year’s additions.

Daughter says R. Kelly sexually abused her

The daughter of R. Kelly has come forward, saying that her father sexually abused her when she was a child.

Buku Abi, born Joanne Kelly, made the allegations in a new TVEI documentary series, “R. Kelly’s Karma: A Daughter’s Story,” according to USA Today and Entertainment Weekly.

“It was really hard. He was my everything,” Abi, 26, said in the first episode of the two-part documentary.

“For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe that it happened.”

Jennifer Bonjean, Kelly’s attorney, said in a statement to People, “Mr. Kelly vehemently denies these allegations.”

Kelly, 57, is in a federal prison after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking in 2022.
