Age 83 of Roseville Minnesota passed away on February 21, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born to Walter and Marcella (Rothstein) Haupt in Melrose, Minnesota on January 14, 1942.
Lary was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Marcella Haupt; his brother Walter Haupt; sisters Joan Erickson, Jean Christenson, and Carmen Pederson; and infant granddaughter Margaret Haupt.
Survived by loving wife Carol; son Mark (Mary) Haupt; daughter Christine (Greg) Kohler; grandchildren Katherine, Andrew, Alexander, Peter and Lydia Haupt, Claire (Jesus) Ortega and Jason Beltmann; and great-grandson Antonio Ortega. Also survived by siblings James Haupt, Mary Arland, Judy Jendro, Joesph Haupt and Berenice Melton.
Mass of Christian Burial on Friday February 28, 2025 at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 11am, 3878 Highland Avenue White Bear Lake.
Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at 10am. Luncheon to follow Mass at St Pius X. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery at 3pm following the luncheon.
Lary loved spending time with family and helping out anyone who needed him. His time in the Air Force not only instilled a sense of pride but also sparked his passion for electronics.
Lary was involved in Boy Scouts, Electronics Club, Church Councils as well has his Condo Board. Lary always had a positive attitude, despite his later medical challenges and had a way of making his caregivers laugh.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who cherished his presence in their lives.
