&nbsp;Was born to Harry and Lee of Fargo, ND, on October 20, 1952. He was the oldest child, followed by Sonja (Mike), Bryan (Michelle) and Beverley (John).<br><br>He lived up to the ’oldest child’ reputation well, as he was naturally inclined to lead the way.<br><br>Larry attended Trinity Western College, followed by North Dakota State University, earning a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.<br><br>He taught at the High School in Wahpeton, ND, and the remainder of his career was at 3M, based out of St. Paul, MN. He traveled the world, after which he was often sharing his reflections on the vast difference between the culture he lived in compared to where he visited.<br><br>He earned a Project Engineering Award three times during his 34-year tenure before retiring in 2018.<br><br>Larry married Roxanne Zimmerman on September 13, 1980. Their children Lance (Marie) and Rachel (Darin) gave him two grandchildren each: Hannah and Ryan; Delilah and Dylan. Larry poured himself into their lives. He was fondly referred to as ’Papa’ by his grandchildren, and he let them know soon before his passing that he loved them, and Jesus did too.<br><br>Larry’s long standing attendance and extensive contributions to Riverview Baptist Church were an outpouring of his commitment to serve his local church, giving evidence of the priority of living out his faith so that others could come to know God and be supported in their spiritual journey.<br><br>We would be remiss to leave out akey thread in Larry’s life - sports. From running track, to Captain of the HS wrestling team, to playing men’s softball for as much of his life as he possibly could (40+ years!).<br><br>Larry was a man of few words, yet they were well-thought out.
