Annie Dalton of Berkley has been named executive director of Sky Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit that raises awareness for pancreatic cancer and funds research toward early detection and treatment.

The announcement was made by Sky Foundation Governing Board President Shannon Crone.

Dalton has served at Birmingham-based Sky Foundation for nearly eight years and previously held the position of Director of Events and Programs.

Prior to joining Sky Foundation, Dalton launched her own events company and served as an operations manager for a commercial cleaning corporation.

“Annie’s deep institutional knowledge of Sky Foundation, strong leadership skills, and close community connections make her an ideal choice to guide the organization,” Crone said.

Dalton has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Western Michigan University.
