David A. Glenn, 71, of South Berwick, Maine, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, leaving behind alegacy of love and cherished memories. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of Ruth Bissett Glenn and Martin Glenn. He grew up in a loving family with siblings Linda Irons, Jackie Barlett, Jeff Glenn, Ronald Glenn, and Susan Glenn. David spent over 20 years as an automotive mechanic at Bailey’s, where he was dedicated to his craft and passionate about mentoring others. As a loving father, he instilled the values of hard work and compassion in his three children: Erin Glenn, Nicholaus Glenn, and Andrew Glenn. He also found immense joy in being a grandfather to Karyzmah Barnett, Desire Brooks, and Logan Glenn, as well as a great-grandfather to Nyla Berube. David enjoyed many joyful years with Cheryl Woodman in South Berwick, celebrating family gatherings filled with laughter. He loved family camping trips and was an avid supporter of Boston sports teams. In his free time, he found joy in reading science fiction novels and taking long drives with his beloved Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. David’s absence will be deeply felt by his family and all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
