Actor and comedian Dick Van Dyke is dealing with some medical issues after missing a comedy event.

On Saturday, Van Dyke was expected to host the Vandy Camp with his wife, Arlene Silver, at the Arlene and Dick Van Dyke Theater at Malibu High School, but had to drop out last minute.

According to People, Silver told the audience she knew she wasn’t the “Van Dyke you’re expecting,” and revealed that the 99-year-old actor couldn’t help host the camp.

“When you’re 99 and a half years old, you have good days and bad days ... and unfortunately, today is not a good day for him, and he’s sick that he can’t be here,” she said.

According to Vandy Camp’s Instagram, the annual event is “more of a feeling, really. A whimsical, vintage circus. An experience like no other,” working alongside other musical and theatrical guests.

STONE, Luna have fun with bee attack on red carpet

Emma Stone appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where guest host Diego Luna brought up her now-viral red carpet moment that featured a bee.

While Stone was at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival last month, a pesky bee just wouldn’t leave her alone. Co-stars Austin Butler and Pedro Pascal quickly came to her aid.

Footage of the bug attack shows Pascal trying to swat it away while holding Stone as she crouches down in an attempt to dodge it. Meanwhile, Butler tries to blow the bee away.

Basically, Luna implied that Butler’s bee-begone breath work was actually bringing the stinging insect closer to the “Easy A” star.

Stone quickly came to the “Elvis” star’s defense. “No. He is a sweetheart and a half; there is no way he wanted that bee in my face. He was trying to blow it behind me,” she said. However, Luna was pretty convinced Butler had a secret agenda. “I think (he) brought the bee,” he joked.

Stone wasn’t having it, though. “I almost guarantee you, if anyone brought the bee, it was Pedro. ... He probably unleashed that bee.”

Whoopi Goldberg lands role on Italian soap opera

Whoopi Goldberg‘s talents seemingly know no bounds, as she has just landed a role on the Italian soap opera “Un Posto al Sole.”

The actress was away from her daytime job on “The View” this week, but that didn’t stop her from snagging another gig. While vacationing in Italy, she announced a multi-episode role on the long-running, Italian-language drama.

In an Instagram video on Friday, Goldberg said, “They know it’s a crazy idea, I know it’s a crazy idea, but what a wonderful thing to do.

“I’m looking forward to it. I’m excited.”
