Pressure remains on Butler, Heat

Jimmy Butler had the ball in his hands on basically every possession of the Heat’s victory over the Lakers in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night. All indications were the Heat planned to stick to the same plan trailing 2-1 in the series ahead of Tuesday night’s Game 4, which ended too late for this edition. Butler had 40 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists Sunday. “He has to make some things happen for us,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “ He did that in a brilliant way, and he’ll likely have to do something very similar again.” Heat All-Star center Bam Adebayo had planned to play Tuesday after missing Games 2 and 3 with a strained neck.
