Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.

Love also was listed as questionable last Friday on Green Bay’s injury report, but he was downgraded to doubtful the following day and ended up missing the Packers’ 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Love hadn’t practiced at all in the week leading up to the Colts game, but he’s been practicing on a limited basis each of the last three days.

The victory over the Colts was the first game Love has missed since taking over as Green Bay’s starting quarterback last year. He injured his left medial collateral ligament Sept. 6 during the final series of the Packers’ 34-29 season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.

“Certainly he’s doing everything in his power,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Friday. “He wants to be out there more than anybody. But we’ll work through it. We’ll give it up to gametime, and we’ll see where we’re at.”

Former Titans quarterback Malik Willis would start if Love is unable to play. Willis stepped in for Love against the Colts and went 12 of 14 for 122 yards while throwing his first career touchdown pass and committing no turnovers. Willis also had six carries for 41 yards.

The Packers ran 53 times for 261 yards in that game, getting their highest output in rushing yards since 2003 and their largest total in carries since 1978.

Green Bay acquired Willis for a 2025 seventh-round pick in a trade that was announced Aug. 27. The Titans had selected the former Liberty quarterback in the third round of the 2022 draft.

In other injury news, Packers cornerback Carrington Valentine is doubtful for Sunday’s game at Tennessee (0-2) with an ankle issue and rookie offensive lineman Jordan Morgan won’t play due to a shoulder problem. Morgan has been splitting time with Sean Rhyan at right guard.

Browns’ Garrett dealing with injuries to feet

Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett revealed he’s dealing with injuries in both feet, but he intends to keep playing while acknowledging he may need a surgical procedure following the season.

The NFL’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year returned to practice Friday after sitting out two days for rest and treatment. He expects to play Sunday when the Browns (1-1) host the New York Giants (0-2).

“Don’t feel 100 percent but feel good enough to go out there and make a difference,” he said. “So we’ll go out there and do that.”

Garrett declined to specify what’s wrong with his feet. It was widely assumed he was only dealing with an injury in one foot before the 28-year-old said he was dealing with a similar ailment in both feet.

The five-time Pro Bowler has recorded a strip sack in Cleveland’s first two games. He was on the field for 41 plays in the Browns’ 18-13 win at Jacksonville last week.

Garrett had surgeries to correct flat feet when he was a kid, and said the current injuries could be related to his previous conditions.

“Not completely, but it probably has something to do with it from those events,” he said.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft, Garrett has record 90 1/2 sacks in 102 career games.

Giants WR Hyatt denies asking for trade

Second-year wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has denied asking the New York Giants to trade him if they were not going to use him.

Speaking Friday after the team’s final practice for Sunday’s game in Cleveland, Hyatt said he was surprised by an ESPN report that discussed his lack of playing time in the first two games, and included a multi-sourced report that said during a practice late this summer he said that if the Giants weren’t going to use him, they should trade him.

A speedy third-round draft pick out of Tennessee in 2023, Hyatt said he has never talked to general manager Joe Schoen about a trade, either recently or during the summer. He said his relationship with coach Brian Daboll is good. He also did not recall talking at a practice this summer about a deal.

“I didn’t say that. I don’t know where that came from, but that’s false,” Hyatt said. “I love being here. Joe, Dabs, I got so much respect for trading up for me and getting me. So, whatever that rumor was, it’s not true at all.”

The interest in Hyatt has peaked with the Giants dropping their first two games. He was one of quarterback Daniel Jones’ main targets in training camp and caught a lot of deep balls. He seemed to fall out of favor with Daboll just before the season.

Veteran Darius Slayton became the No. 2 wideout behind sensational rookie Malik Nabors, with Wan’Dale Robinson being the slot receiver. Hyatt has been on the field for 26 plays in the first two games. He has had one target, a high pass he felt he should have caught. He called it a drop.

Briefly

Chargers >> Justin Herbert’s status for Sunday’s game at Pittsburgh could come down to a game-time decision after the Los Angeles quarterback did not practice on Friday because of a high right ankle sprain. Herbert is listed as questionable on the injury report but said it is “something that’s yet to be decided” on if he can play. Easton Stick and Taylor Heinicke are Herbert’s backups, but Harbaugh wasn’t going to tip his hand on who would start if Herbert can’t go.

49ers >> San Francisco will likely be without All-Pro tight end George Kittle for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. The Niners listed Kittle on Friday as doubtful for the game after he reported a sore hamstring following practice on Wednesday. The Niners will also be without All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey, who went on injured reserve last week with Achilles tendinitis, and star receiver Deebo Samuel, who strained his calf last week.

Bears >> Receiver Keenan Allen has been ruled out for the second straight week because of a heel injury. His heel has been bothering the six-time Pro Bowler for several weeks, though coach Matt Eberflus said Friday it is improving. He also said Allen is dealing with a personal matter. Guard Nate Davis (groin) is questionable. Eberflus said running back Travis Homer had surgery for a finger injury he suffered in practice and would be placed on injured reserve.

Patriots >> New England coach Jerod Mayo said Friday he is sticking with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback. Brissett was pulled from Thursday’s 24-3 loss to the New York Jets in favor of first-round draft pick Drake Maye.

Ravens >> Baltimore signed running back Justice Hill to a two-year extension Friday, keeping a reliable player and popular teammate under contract through the 2026 NFL season. The extension is worth $6 million, according to a person with knowledge of the deal. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because terms were not disclosed.
