The Terrapins (23-7, 13-6) have won six of seven games, losing only to the Spartans on a buzzer-beating heave.
The Wolverines (22-8, 14-5) have lost two straight and three of their last four home games, falling out of first place in the conference.
Michigan State has a 1 1/2-game lead with two games left in the regular season. The Spartans, who are 15-3 in Big Ten play, visit Iowa on Thursday night before closing at home Sunday against rival Michigan.
Maryland took control by holding Michigan to a season-low 22 points in the first half while building an 11-point lead.
flORIDA 99, ALABAMA 94 >> Alex Condon had 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 5 Florida over No. 7 Alabama.
The Gators (26-4, 13-4 SEC) also got 22 points and eight assists from Walter Clayton Jr.

clemson 78, boston college 69 >> Jaeden Zackery returned to Chestnut Hill and scored 21 points against his former team, hitting a key 3-pointer after Boston College cut a 16-point deficit to two and leading No. 11 Clemson to victory.
Chase Hunter added 18 points to help the Tigers (25-5, 17-2 ACC) win their seventh straight game.
Jayden Hastings scored 18 for Boston College (12-18, 4-15).
Texas tech 91, colorado 75 >> JT Toppin had 30 points and 14 rebounds as ninth-ranked Texas Tech led throughout in a win over Colorado, clinching a double-bye for the Red Raiders into the quarterfinal round in next week’s Big 12 Tournament.
It was 13th double-double this season for Toppin, the sophomore who is a transfer from New Mexico. He led five players scoring in double figures for Tech (23-7, 14-5 Big 12) in its home finale.
Chance McMillian added 15 points, while Christian Anderson and Kerwin Walton each had 12. Darrion Williams scored 11.
Bangot Dak and Sebastian Rancik each scored 12 points for Colorado (11-19, 2-17).

tennessee 77, texas a&m 37 >> Talaysia Cooper had 19 points and eight rebounds, Jewel Spear added 11 points and three 3-pointers, and 18th-ranked Tennessee beat Texas A&M in the opening game of the SEC Tournament.
Tennessee (22-8) advances to play No. 8 seed Vanderbilt on Thursday.
Sahara Jones had 16 points and 13 rebounds for No. 16 seed Texas A&M (10-19).
Nebraska 84, Rutgers 60 >> Alexis Markowski scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and 10th-seeded Nebraska coasted past Rutgers in the opening round of the Big Ten Conference Tournament in Indianapolis.
The Cornhuskers (20-10) face seventh-seeded Illinois, a team they lost to by nine, in the second round on Thursday.
Destiny Adams was 13 of 13 from the foul line and led the Scarlet Knights (11-19) with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
iowa 81, Wisconsin 54 >> Lucy Olsen scored 14 of her 19 points in the first half on 8-for-12 shooting and 11th-seeded Iowa beat No. 14-seed Wisconsin in a first-round matchup in the Big Ten Tournament.
Sydney Affolter, Kylie Feuerbach and Taylor McCabe each scored nine points as the Hawkeyes (21-9) shot 57.4% (35 for 61) including 55% (11 for 20) from 3-point range.
Serah Williams scored 22 points for Wisconsin (13-17).
Iowa advances to play Michigan State on Thursday.
