Is that Biden and Democrats out of their mind sending checks again for children when most of these people are sitting with two and three checks free, those that keep having kids with no fathers around to support them. Just keep getting free checks. When are they going to give seniors and other people our income tax refund checks? We filed in March and they say still processing when we go on to check.

I am happy to hear that families are starting to get their child tax credits. However, I would like to know why the IRS can’t seem to get tax refunds to people that have already paid/overpaid their income taxes? I electronically filed my taxes four months ago and have not received my refund. When I go to the IRS website or call them, it states that my taxes are being processed. There is no option to talk to an actual person. If they can get the child tax credits rolling, why can’t they get our taxes processed?

With the virus going around we’re supposed to help each other, residents and all. I called a place for food delivery the other day, said I’m an 83-year-old calling. Minimum delivery cost is $30. How much can someone eat for $30? It’s why every time I look for a business it’s give me the money, give me the money. Give me a break, $30 a meal?

People like Lawrence Msall and the Civic Federation constantly snipe at public pensions earned by teachers and first responders. I was nonunion and retired from a public university and put very small lump sum payments from unused vacation into guaranteed principle tax sheltered annuities that yielded less than 3% over 20 years. I receive annual proxies for advisory boards for two funds whose CEOs take $14 million and $39 million in annual compensation and get more if they are fired. I am sickened that the executive compensation justifications are more voluminous than annual corporate financial reports. Increasing the taxes on the wealthy and corporations is an orderly way to avert popular unrest.
