Diane Cecile Nelson was born to Mervin and Elizabeth Nelson 08/12/1946 in Richmond CA.
Diane spent the majority of her life in Woodland, being the best big sister to her siblings. She had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back.
She attended Woodland schools from the age of 10 through graduation from High School in 1965.
Diane worked 38 years for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Sacramento.
Diane loved her niece and nephew, Lori and Justin, so much and that love extended to their children. They all benefited from her love and kindness.
Diane loved shopping trips and lunch with her mom and friends.
She would never turn down a trip to any casino to play the slot machines with her parents or her sister Christy.
Diane passed away 12/18/2024, one month prior to her father’s passing.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Christy and Dick Allen, brother Steven Nelson and Carolanne Fitzgerald, and sister Beth Nelson, her much loved niece and nephew, Lori Almazan and husband Joe and Justin Allen wife Kim, Great nieces and nephews, Charlie, Aaron, Piper and Mia.
Predeceased by her mother Elizabeth and brother Jon.
Per Diane’s wishes there will be no service.
