 With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce the passing of Gloria Ann Borreani, on November 23, 2025. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old.

She was born in Oakland, California, on January 31, 1936 to Charles Benjamin (from Pennsylvania) and Marietta Volpe (from Italy). She was the oldest daughter and big sister to Janet Olcott. Gloria was raised in Albany, California. She is survived by family and friends that dearly loved her as much as she loved them.

A Rosary/Celebration of Life is scheduled on December 10, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at St. Joseph Cemetery & Funeral Center, 2540 Church Ln, San Pablo, CA 94806, in the St. Michael room. A Funeral Mass is scheduled on December 11, 2025 from 11:00am-12pm at St. David of Wales Roman Catholic Church, 5641 Esmond Ave, Richmond, CA 94805. The Committal/Burial will follow the Funeral Mass, at St. Joseph Cemetery & Funeral Center, 2540 Church Ln, San Pablo, CA 94806, at 12:30pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Gloria’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched with her unconditional love, generosity, and kindness.
