Resident of San Jose

It is with amix of sorrow and relief that we announce the passing of Donald "Don" Riemersma, who left us peacefully on December 26th 2024 at 71 years old.

Born in Samarang, Indonesia, along with his sister.

They left only a few years later to Holland. At the age of 6 they immigrated to the US and settled in the Bay Area of California.

He moved to Texas in 2018 to be closer to his daughter and grandkids.

In mid 2024 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but already in poor health and the toll the chemo took on him was too much.

He leaves behind 2 kids, that helped look after him and will always remember him even through the hard times they had with him.

Rest in peace, Don/Dad.
