With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Neal Thomas Anderson, 80, on February 23, 2025, in Niwot, Colorado. Born on September 15, 1944, in the Bronx, Neal lived a life full of exploration, love, and service.<br><br>He is survived by his beloved partner, Roxolana Kramarchuk; daughter Elizabeth Davis (Drew); son Ryan Anderson (Halley); granddaughter Daniella Davis; and former spouse Janice Stutts. A devoted father and grandfather, Neal's generosity and humor will be deeply missed.<br><br>A pioneer in aerospace, he made groundbreaking contributions to Earth imaging.<br><br>Passionate about his community, he was a dedicated volunteer with the Niwot Community Association, earning the affectionate title of "Mayor" of Niwot. He and Janice also fostered 62 babies over 16 years.<br><br>A Celebration of Life will be held at Niwot Hall on Monday, March 10, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Bank of the Rockies or The Nature Conservancy.<br><br>Neal's kindness, generosity, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.<br><div><br></div>
