March 23, 1944 - October 31, 2022 Mission Viejo - Allen Ralph Lenning, 78, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Oct. 31, 2022. He will love on in our hearts.<br><br>Allen was born March 23, 1944 to Alfred and Helen Lenning in Philadephia, PA.<br><br>After graduating from Drexel Institue, he met and married the love of his life, Linda Berwick in May 1968 and went on to have three children: Eric, Nicole and Linda, Jr. He spent the next 40+ years as a Mechanical Engineer.<br><br>In 1981, Allen was promoted and moved the family to Mission Viejo where he enjoyed living the Southern California lifestyle, spending time at the beach and by his pool.<br><br>Allen was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his love of his family. he and his wife also enjoyed going on road trips with the 356 Club of Southern California.<br><br>Allen was predeceased by his mother, Helen, father, Alfred and two older sisters, Carol Lowry and Virginia Tarnowski. He is survived by his wife, Linda, son, Eric (Kimberlee) Lenning, and daughters Nicole (Scott) Groot and Linda (George) Namath. He will be terribly missed by his 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.<div></div><br>
