Boulder football: The Panthers won their first game since Aug. 26, 2022, when they beat Centaurus. In their 28-14 win over Silver Creek on Friday, Henry Sharpe connected with Jack Neslage for a 35-yard score and Andre Drapeau had a 60-yard rushing TD.

Broomfield girls cross country: The Eagles won the 14-team Centaurus Bernie Gay XC Invitational on Saturday. Vilate Carwin won in 19 minutes, 0.38 seconds.

Broomfield football: The Eagles (2-0) beat Monarch 46-0 on Friday. Darien Jackson threw two touchdowns and Colin Torres rushed for two. CT Worley caught and ran for a TD.

Broomfield boys soccer: The Eagles (4-0) beat Skyline and Fort Collins by five goals last week. Joziah Garron Guillen had three goals across the two games for the defending 5A champs, giving him a team-best five on the season.

Fairview boys golf: The Knights won the 20-team Frederick Classic at Coyote Creek Golf Course on Thursday. Freshman Ash Edwards won the event at 8-under-par 63. Junior Miles Kuhl, last year’s 5A runner-up, shot a 68.

Holy Family boys soccer: The Tigers beat Middle Park 3-1 on Wednesday, moving to 4-0 on the season. Oliver Hansen scored twice in the win.

Longmont boys soccer: The Trojans (4-0) beat Northglenn and Skyline last week, each by a 4-0 result. It was their first win over the Falcons since 2013. Noah Chavarria, meanwhile, had four goals and an assist across the two games, giving him a team-best six on the season.

Mead football: The Mavericks (2-0) recorded 4.5 sacks and eight tackles behind the line in a 16-14 win over Frederick on Friday. Dresden Spendlove had 1.5 sacks, two tackles for loss and he forced a fumble.

Niwot cross country: The Cougars won the boys’ and girls’ races at the RE-1J district meet at Lyons on Wednesday. Rocco Culpepper (15:36.38) led nine straight Niwot runners into the line in the boys’ meet. Addy Ritzenhein (17:39.29) beat the field by 50 seconds as seven of the top 10 girls’ finishers were from Niwot.

Peak to Peak boys golf: The Pumas won the Metro League tournament at Meadows Golf Club on Tuesday. Defending 3A champ Om Mathur won at 4-under-par 68, tallying seven birdies.

George Behringer, Monarch soccer: The senior had a hat trick in a 4-0 win over Poudre on Thursday.

Vivaan Bhardwaj, Peak to Peak tennis: The No. 1 singles player beat Standley Lake’s Noah Schauer and Horizon’s Ian Zahner last week, improving to 5-0 on matches in MaxPreps. The Pumas have won their first four duals and finished first at the Centaurus Invite last month.

Toray Davis, Fairview football: Davis rushed for 104 yards and two scores on just 14 carries as the Knights beat Colorado Preps Media poll No. 8 Arvada West on Friday, 35-30. He also caught a touchdown.

Ireland Heer, Broomfield softball: The junior struck out 17 batters in 14 innings pitched last week for the undefeated Eagles (13-0), who won over Legacy and Holy Family. Heer’s ERA is 1.07 in 39 1/3 frames this season. She has 49 Ks.

Aislin Oldach, Legacy volleyball: In two wins last week for the Lightning (4-4), the junior recorded 37 kills, 28 digs, three blocks and two aces.

Sutton Sales and Tegan Cerveny, Erie volleyball: Sales had 24 kills across two wins and six sets last week, giving her a team-best 52 on the year. Cerveny had 26 kills, four aces and 27 digs.

Anton Taranda, Boulder golf: The junior won the Rocky Mountain League tournament at Todd Creek Golf Club on Tuesday, shooting 4-under-par 68. The Panthers won the team race by seven strokes.

Payton Torres, Frederick softball: Torres threw 28 1/3 innings across six games last week, striking out 29, going 4-1. She also had seven RBIs, giving her 10 on the year.

Maggie Wallis, Peak to Peak softball: The senior is a perfect 13 for 13 in her last 13 at-bats. She’s batting .771 with 30 RBIs on the season.

Halas Wise and Jax Lewis, Centaurus football: Wise threw for 416 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Niwot on Friday. Lewis had 170 all-purpose yards and finished with three TDs.
