Woodland

Pearl LaNeve Ochoa passed away August 20, 2024 at the age of 98. LaNeve or Tush as her friends called her was born June 26, 1926 to Carl Teuscher and Pearl Stevens Teuscher on a farm in Hazelton, Idaho. During the depression in 1936 her family moved to Woodland, California. She and her younger brother Carl D Teuscher attended Woodland schools. LaNeve graduated High School in 1944. In 1947 she married Henry Ochoa. They welcomed their first of three sons in 1948, Stanley Ochoa. In 1948 LaNeve and Henry, along with Henry's brothers Edward and Pete Ochoa, opened Ochoa Brothers White Truck Dealership. They welcomed 2nd son Dennis in 1949 and in 1955 son Kirk. As the boys were growing up LaNeve was very active in the Cub Scouts and PTA. In later years she enjoyed all types of card games. She enjoyed entertaining and playing cards with friends and family at their Clear Lake home. After almost 65 years living on McKinley Ave., with the passing of her son Dennis in 2008 and Henry in 2009, she moved tothe Californian Assisted Living. LaNeve started different card groups, playing cards 5 days a week. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Ochoa, son Dennis Ochoa, her parents, brother Carl D Teuscher. She is survived by sons Stanley (Cindy), Kirk (Jomarie), and daughter-in-law Susan Ochoa. Grandsons Chris (Tami), Mark (Nikki), Matthew (Shelby), and Timothy Ochoa. Great-grandchildren Danny (Maddy), Ashley, Annette, Tyler, Abbigail, and Annabelle Ochoa. Great-great-grandaughters McKinley and Peyton Ochoa. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers or donations, please contact someone you haven't seen in awhile to catch up on old times or get a deck of cards and play a few hands in LaNeve's memory.
