Babies born in the days leading up to Christmas at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Long Beach are presented to their parents as literal bundles of holiday joy.
One Long Beach hospital continued a beloved, decades-long holiday tradition this week by welcoming babies born just before Christmas into the world in a festive way.
Babies born at MemorialCare’s Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital were wrapped in giant red stockings and presented to their parents as literal bundles of holiday joy.
The tradition of welcoming Christmas babies into the world with this festive photo opportunity has been a beloved one at the hospital for 62 years, according to a recent news release.
“Miller Children’s & Women’s parents,” the release said, “are always surprised and delighted at the special touch provided to their very own Christmas miracle.”
