Broomfield baseball: The Eagles improved their win streak to 14 games last week, winning their regional while outscoring their two opponents — Fort Collins and Cherokee Trail — a combined 18-1. As the 5 seed, they will open against No. 4 Fossil Ridge on Friday at the All-Star Park in Lakewood.
Broomfield girls golf: The Eagles were runner-up at the Class 4A Region 2 tournament at Fox Hollow Golf Course last week. They are at the 4A state tournament Monday and Tuesday at Broadlands Golf Course.
Broomfield girls soccer: The No. 10 Eagles reached the 5A semifinals behind a second straight road win in the playoffs, at No. 2 Cherry Creek last Monday. Ava Boettcher scored in the waning minutes to oust the Bruins but the Eagles bowed out in the semifinals to No. 6 Castle View in penalties.
Holy Family girls golf: The Tigers won the rain-shortened Class 3A Region 3 tournament at the Olde Course at Loveland. Peyton Mraz shot 2-over-par 38 to win the individual crown. They’ll play in the 3A state tournament this week at Boomerang Links in Greeley.
Jefferson Academy girls soccer: The Jaguars reached the 3A semifinals after beating Prospect Ridge Academy in Tuesday’s quarterfinals. They bowed out to Colorado Academy, 3-0.
Legacy girls golf: The Lightning finished second at the Class 5A Northern Regional at Broadlands Golf Course on Wednesday. Freshman Chloe Hartojo finished third for them, shooting 5-over-par 77. They’ll play in the 5A state tournament at Todd Creek Golf Club in Brighton this week.
Monarch girls golf: The Coyotes qualified a team of four players to this week’s 4A state tournament while tying for third at 4A Region 4 at the Olde Course at Loveland.
Niwot girls golf: The Cougars finished second at the Class 4A Region 3 tournament at Twin Peaks Golf Course on Tuesday. Wendy Cheruiyot finished fourth at 8-over-par 79 for the Cougars, while Sonya Holmes was fifth (80). They’re at Broadlands Golf Course for the 4A state tournament this week.
Niwot track and field: The Cougars won the girls and boys 4A team title at the state track and field meet at Jefferson County Stadium. In all, they won 14 events across three days. Addy Ritzenhein won three events (1,600, 3,200 and 4×800) for the girls team, which won its sixth straight title, as did Reese Kasper (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 4×200). Jade West three-peated in the shot put and defended her crown in discus, while Eliana Henriques won the long jump. Rocco Culpepper won three events (800, 1600 and 4×800) for the boys team, its first team title since 2021. Ryder Keeton won the 3,200.
Peak to Peak girls tennis: The Pumas won the Class 3A dual team tennis tournament over Prospect Ridge Academy on Tuesday. Lena Crotty led the way, winning at No. 1 singles over PRA’s Omi McGee.

Lucy Connors, Mead lacrosse: The senior scored seven goals in her team’s 4A semifinals loss to No. 1 Evergreen, which went on to win the title. Her 113 goals this season were the most in the state.
Natalie Fetters, Erie track and field: The junior won the 5A girls shot put with a toss of 38 feet, 2.25 inches at the state meet last weekend. She was eighth in discus.
Rylee Klatt, Mead track and field: The junior helped lead Mead to a ninth-place finish in 4A’s girls team race at the state meet last weekend. She was second in the 400, third in the 100, fourth in the 200 and sixth in the 4×400.
Teagan Malcom, Longmont boys track and field: The University of Colorado commit won the 4A 300-meter hurdles in 36.94 at the state meet last weekend, just 0.13 seconds shy of the state meet record.
Niwot girls 4×200: Eliana Henriques, Sammie Holliday, Kate Schmidthuber and Reese Kasper set the 4A state meet record in the event at 1 minutes and 38.78 seconds. The same group of four briefly had the 4×400 record, too, after setting it in prelims. And though they ran even faster in the 4×400 finals (3:48.93), Windsor won in a record time of 3:48.21.
Maverick Scarpella, Broomfield baseball: The senior tossed a seven-inning no-hitter to lead the Eagles past Cherokee Trail, 7-0, in their regional championship game Saturday. He struck out 12. In the team’s first-round regional game against Fort Collins, he drove in two runs.
Devin Shea, Legacy track and field: He had the state’s highest leap at state last weekend, winning the 5A high jump at 6 feet, 9 inches.
Claire Tannehill, Holy Family track and field: The junior won the 4A girls 100 in 11.75 seconds, the second-fastest time ran by a girl in Colorado this spring. She was second in the 200 and sixth in 4×200.
Annalina Torres, Legacy track and field: The senior won the 5A girls 400-meter run in 54.46 seconds at state. She was third in the 200 and sixth in the 800.
Hope Torres, Prospect Ridge Academy girls golf: The senior won Class 2A Region 2 at Lone Tree Golf Club last week, shooting 4-over-par 76.
