Beloved husband of Kathie (Van Nispen) Sanft and adored father to his children Charles T., Kirsten and Corbin. Chuck is also survived by his faithful and devoted brother and sister, Tom Sanft and Barbara J.<br><br>Anderson. Chuck treasured our daughters-in-law Zoe Lai and Hsin- Lun Sanft, his grandchildren Peregrine, Rowan and Olive and great granddaughter Phoebe. He also held deep affection and appreciation for wonderful nieces and nephews and many friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Theodore Gordon and Vera Regina (Schug), brother Theodore and his wife Mary Lou and sister Janice Plaisted. Chuck held a great love for life and the outdoors; a mischievous smile came as easily to his lips as laughter, a wise and kind word or a song. A committed environmentalist, Chuck prized deeply the beauty, solitude and friendships he found in wild places.<br><br>We will miss him very much.
