


As the Fourth of July holiday nears, communities throughout the Inland Empire are planning festivities to celebrate.
Here’s where you can find fireworks shows along with parades and festivals in the coming days to celebrate the country’s independence.
Riverside County
CANYON LAKE: Canyon Lake will be celebrating the holiday on Friday, with fireworks launching from Skippers Island starting at 9 p.m. A DJ will be playing music starting at 8 p.m. on the Lodge pool deck, leading up to the fireworks. The city recommends the best viewing sites are Happy Camp, Holiday Harbor, Sunset Beach, Main Causeway, and on the lake. Information: canyonlakepoa.com/4th-of-july-fireworks
CORONA: The city’s Independence Day Celebration will be held Friday. The annual Main Street USA Parade kicks off at 9 a.m., heading down Main Street, from Ontario Avenue to Olive Street. At 5 p.m., live music, food and other vendors, along with bounce houses will bring the festivities to Santana Park, 598 Santana Way, followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Information: coronaca.gov/events/july4
JURUPA VALLEY: The Jurupa park district’s annual Independence Day celebration will take place from 4-9:30 p.m. Thursday at Vernola Family Park, 5211 Wineville Ave. Food, games, live music and fireworks will be part of the event. Fireworks will be at 9 p.m. Presale tickets sold through Wednesday are $5 each, a pack of five is $20 in advance. Tickets will be $10 per person the day of the event. LAKE ELSINORE: The city is holding a morning Fourth of July celebration from 9-11 a.m. Friday at Summerly Park, 18505 Malaga Road, which will include crafts and a children’s bike parade at 9:30 a.m. An evening fireworks show starts at 9 p.m. Recommended viewing spots are at Lakepoint Park, Swick & Matich Park, Whiskers Beach and Elm Grove Beach, 500 Lakeshore Drive. MENIFEE: The city will host a parade and live music followed by fireworks today at Wheatfield Park, 30627 Menifee Road. The annual event will kick off at 4 p.m. with the parade on La Piedra Road. That road will remain closed until 10 p.m. Festivities include food vendors, a kids’ zone and concerts by Franklin Wall as well as the Dreamboats. MORENO VALLEY: A Fourth of July parade and FunFest will take place Friday. The parade will start at 9:30 a.m. at Frederick Street and Alessandro Boulevard. The Family FunFest will kick off at 3 p.m., when gates open at the Civic Center Amphitheater, 14075 Frederick St. Live bands, a kids zone and a beer garden are part of the fun. Fireworks will launch at 9 p.m. Wristbands are on sale through Tuesday 1 at the Conference and Recreation Center,14075 Frederick St. Cost is $3 per person or $10 for 4 family members. MURRIETA: Before the Fourth of July holiday, the city will celebrate its 34th Birthday Bash, from 2-9 p.m. today at California Oak Sports Park, 40600 California Oaks Road. NORCO: The city is hosting a Patriotic Picnic in the Park from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday at Pikes Peak Park, 97 Sixth St. The free event will feature live music, food vendors, a horseshoe tournament along with other games and contests, and the annual bike/trike parade. PERRIS: The city’s third annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Park, 600 E Morgan St. The free event will feature arts, crafts and food vendors and a movie will begin at dusk. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. Information: cityofperris.org
RIVERSIDE: The city will fire off two fireworks displays on the Fourth of July. Mount Rubidoux and La Sierra Park, 5215 La Sierra Ave., will host shows set to start at 9 p.m. La Sierra Park and Carlson Dog Park will be closed all day and Mount Rubidoux will be closed after 7 a.m. on the holiday. SAN JACINTO: The 2025 Independence Day Stars and Stripes Parade and Street Fair is planned from 9 a.m.-noon Friday on Main Street. TEMECULA: The city’s annual Fourth of July parade is set for 10 a.m. Friday in Old Town. The parade, which starts at Old Town Front and 2nd streets, will include floats, vehicles, equestrians and bands. From 2-10 p.m. at Ronald Reagan Sports Park, 30875 Rancho Vista Road, the city’s holiday extravaganza featuring live music, vendors and kids’ activities will take place. San Bernardino County
BIG BEAR LAKE: A free Independence Day Faire is planned from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday at the Big Bear Convention Center, 42900 Big Bear Blvd., featuring entertainment, vendors and a kids zone. The city’s free fireworks show over the lake is set to begin between 8:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Information: bigbear.com/events/4th-of-july
CHINO: The city’s two-day Fireworks Spectacular continues today at Ruben S. Ayala Park, 14225 Central Ave. The free event includes a food court, carnival games and rides, and kicks off at 1 p.m. with live entertainment. CHINO HILLS: The city is hosting its annual Independence Day celebration and concert from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Park, 14877 Eucalyptus Ave. The free event includes family-friendly activities and games, along with live music. A patriotic opening ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. and live music will follow from 6:45-9 p.m. This patriotic celebration does not include a fireworks display. Information: chinohills.org/Events
CRESTLINE: Jamboree Days in the San Bernardino Mountains community kick off Sunday. A free community picnic and Duck Derby are from noon-5 p.m. Sunday, at the Meadow at San Moritz Lodge, 24640 San Moritz Drive. On July 5 events will conclude with a parade and fireworks over Lake Gregory. The parade will take place at 10 a.m. with a route from Crest Forest Drive to Fern Drive and onto Lake Drive before ending at Lake Gregory Drive. Shopping, and other community activities will take place throughout the day. The beaches and lake area will close for an hour at 5 p.m. in preparation for the fireworks show over the lake, which will launch at 9 p.m. Information: jamboreedays.com
FONTANA: The city is planning its free Fourth of July Celebration from 6-9:30 p.m. today at Summit High School, 5551 Summit Ave. Ozomatli will be performing at 7 p.m. and the fireworks show will follow. Information: fontanaca.gov/2158/4th-of-July-Celebration
HIGHLAND: The city of Highland will host its annual Fourth of July parade at 9 a.m. Friday at the corner of Church Avenue and Base Line Street. LAKE ARROWHEAD: The annual Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular over Lake Arrowhead will take place at 9 p.m. Friday. Information: lakearrowheadchamber.com
ONTARIO: The city will celebrate Independence Day with its parade and traditional All-States Picnic on Friday. The parade along Euclid Avenue starts at 9 a.m., followed by the traditional picnic from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Town Square, 224 N. Euclid Ave. The Ontario Chaffey Community Showband will perform and families can enter their pups in the Patriotic Pooch Contest. Later in the day, a fireworks spectacular will take place at Westwind Park, 2455 E. Riverside Drive, where gates open at 5 p.m. Information: ontarioca.gov
RANCHO CUCAMONGA: The Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter Sports Complex, 8408 Rochester Ave., will be the site for the city’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular on Friday. The parking lot opens at 5:30 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $15 and are available at cityofrc.us/events/4th-july-fireworks-spectacular.
REDLANDS: The 102nd Summer Music Festival at Redlands Bowl presents “A Star-Spangled Evening of Patriotic Pops,” a patriotic concert featuring the Inland Master Chorale and directed and produced by Nolan Livesay, at 8 p.m. Thursday. The concert is free. Seating is first come, first served at the bowl, 25 Grant St. Information: redlandsbowl.org
REDLANDS: The city will host its day of festivities, kicking off at 9 a.m. Friday at Sylvan Park. Events includes music, games, food and the annual parade around the park, which starts at 10:30 a.m. The Independence Day celebration at the park continues until 3 p.m. The annual fireworks show at Moore Middle School, 1550 E Highland Ave., takes place later, with school gates opening at 5:15 p.m. A live show will begin at 6 p.m., including a flag ceremony and flyovers. SAN BERNARDINO: The Inland Empire 66ers are hosting the Lake Elsinore Storm on Friday and a Fireworks Extravaganza will follow the game at San Manuel Stadium, 280 S E St. The Independence Day fireworks display is said to be the largest in the Inland Empire, according to the 66ers website. SAN BERNARDINO: The San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra presents its annual concert under the stars with fireworks, “America, the Beautiful,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5 at San Bernardino Valley College’s football field, 701 S. UPLAND: The city of Upland hosts its “Light up the Night” fireworks spectacular Friday at Cable Airport, 1749 W. 13th St. Gates open at 5 p.m. An airplane display, live performances by Pop Vision Band, games and the fireworks display are all part of the experience. CLAREMONT: The city is hosting its 75th Fourth of July celebration Friday with a festival and parade, along with an evening concert and fireworks at Pomona College’s Strehle Track. Morning events kick off at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Kiwanis Club. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the parade is set to start at 1 p.m. Gates at Strehle Track open at 6:30 p.m. and Pop Vinyl will be performing from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Fireworks will start at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 for ages 4 years and older. LA VERNE: La Verne will celebrate with its annual parade, this year with a “Stars, Stripes and Service” theme, the parade is set to begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the corner of D and 10th streets. Before the parade, a pancake breakfast sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 411 will be offered for $8 a plate from 6:30-10:30 a.m. at the Methodist Church, 3205 D St. A fireworks show, along with vendors, will be at Bonita High School Stadium, 3102 D St. Gates open at 6 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person; ages 4 and under are admitted free. POMONA: Fairplex in Pomona will host its Kaboom! fireworks and monster truck show on Friday. Motocross and monster trucks will bring entertainment to Fairplex, 101 W McKinley Ave., starting at 4 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. Tickets range in price from $14 to $45 and can be purchased online at fairplex.com/kaboom/ or at the gate.
