PREP BOYS SWIMMING STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Standing proud
Who knew Coyotes could swim? Monarch boys swimming was all business Saturday at the Class 4A state championships, finishing near the top of the team standings thanks in part to a couple of individual event wins at the Veterans Memorial Aquatics Center in Thornton. ABOVE: Monarch’s Ethan DiFronzo, center, graces the podium after winning the 50-yard freestyle early in the meet. AT RIGHT: Monarch’s Gavin Keogh slaps the water in celebration after winning the 200-yard freestyle.
