At its award ceremony on April 10, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1555 presented a certificate and monetary award to the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Sergeant Tyler Rainey of the Chico Police Department Chief Billy Aldridge nominated the officer for his exemplary service in the community and within the ranks of CPD.
