Inspiration can be found among the six gardens featured in the Beverly Area Planning Association’s Sixth Annual Beverly/Morgan Park Garden Walk, which steps off at 10 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m. July 13 in Chicago.

A bubbling waterfall, ponds, beautiful flowers, pollinators and an extensive yard on farmland owned in the mid-1800s by a founding family are among the attractions. Attendees will check in and buy tickets at the Edna White Community Garden, 1812 W. Monterey Ave. in Chicago, and can view the garden and visit with event sponsors.

The tours are self-guided and must start by 1 p.m. They are throughout the historic community, although they are far enough apart that a ride is required. Tastings and experiences, including live music, food and beverages, will be offered at the gardens.

Tickets cost $30 in advance for association members and $35 for nonmembers; day of, tickets increase by $5. Get advance tickets through July 12 via bapa.org/garden-walk.
