Passed away on April 15, 2025 following complications from a fall.<br><br>Carol graduated from the College of St. Catherine with a degree in nursing and attended St. Joseph’s Academy.<br><br>Known for her infectious laugh and joyful outlook, Carol was a good friend to all those around her, hosting iconic parties where her love of show tunes, Frank Sinatra, good wine, and even better company shone through.<br><br>Preceded in death by her husband, Matthew; her parents, Archie and Myrtle Johnson; and her sister, Donna Bergstrom Peting. Survived by her children Daniel (Clare) Hubler of Brookfield, WI: Sharon Hubler of St. Paul, MN; Mark (Jama) Hubler of North Oaks, MN and Amy (Courtland) Borle of North Oaks, MN; her sister, Shirley Dunnigan, of Scottsdale, AZ; her eight cherished grandchildren: Collin, Maddie, Jason, Emma, Grace, Riley, Elizabeth, and Maggie; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James the Greater Catholic Church in Eau Claire on Friday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8 at Hulke Family Funeral Home and one hour before mass at the church.<br><br>Private interment at Calvary Cemetery.
