Walter Clayton Jr. scored 19 points and Alex Condon added 17 as visiting No. 6 Florida rallied from an early deficit and beat No. 1 Auburn 90-81 Saturday, ending the Tigers’ 14-game winning streak.
The Gators (20-3, 7-3 Southeastern Conference), down by 10 points early, built a 10-point advantage by the end of the first half and held off the Tigers in the second half for their second victory over a top-ranked team this season. Florida beat then-No. 1 Tennessee 73-43 on Jan. 7.
Tigers leading scorer Johni Broome had 18 points and 11 rebounds as Auburn (21-2, 9-1) had its nine-game conference winning streak halted.
CLEMSON 77, NO. 2 DUKE 71: Viktor Lakhin scored 22 points, the host Tigers held player of the year candidate Cooper Flagg in check for most of the game and Clemson upset the Blue Devils to snap Duke’s 16-game winning streak.
The Tigers (19-5, 11-2) denied the Blue Devils (20-3, 12-1) an opportunity to take over the top ranking in the country as Auburn lost to Florida earlier in the day.
Tyrese Proctor had 23 points and Flagg had 18 points on 6-of-17 shooting for Duke.
NO. 3 ALABAMA 85, ARKANSAS 81: Grant Nelson and Chris Youngblood each scored 15 points and the visiting Crimson Tide held off a late Razorbacks run.
Mouhamed Dioubate scored 14 and Mark Sears added 11 as the Crimson Tide (20-3, 9-1 Southeastern Conference) won their sixth in a row.
Zvonimir Ivisic scored 27 points to lead Arkansas (14-9, 3-7).
NO. 4 TENNESSEE 70, OKLAHOMA 52: Chaz Lanier scored 21 points, Zakai Zeigler added 17 and the visiting Volunteers beat the Sooners in the teams’ first meeting in 56 years.
Tennessee (20-4, 7-4 Southeastern Conference) took control early, hitting 14 of its first 16 shots.
Jalon Moore scored 12 points for Oklahoma (16-7, 3-7).
NO. 5 HOUSTON 69, COLORADO 59: J’Wan Roberts scored 20 points, Terrance Arceneaux added 13 of his 15 points in the second half and the visiting Cougars held off the Buffaloes, who have lost 12 straight.
L.J. Cryer finished with 15 points for Houston (19-4, 11-1 Big 12).
Julian Hammond III had 22 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Colorado (9-14, 0-12).
NO. 8 IOWA ST. 82, TCU 52: Curtis Jones scored 24 points and Milan Momcilovic returned from injury to add 14 as the host Cyclones ended a three-game losing streak with a win over the Horned Frogs.
Momcilovic had not played since Jan. 11, when the Cyclones (18-5, 8-4 Big 12) defeated Texas Tech.
Vasean Allette and Trazarien White each scored nine points for TCU (12-11, 5-7).
NO. 9 MICHIGAN STATE 86, OREGON 74: Jase Richardson scored 18 of his career-high 29 points in the second half, lifting the host Spartans to a comeback win over the Ducks that gave coach Tom Izzo 353 Big Ten wins to tie Bob Knight’s record.
Michigan State (19-5, 10-2) trailed by 14 points at halftime.
The Ducks (16-8, 5-8) were led by Jackson Shelstad’s scored 22 points.
NO. 10 TEXAS A&M 67, NO. 15 MISSOURI 64: Wade Taylor IV made a 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds remaining to lift the visiting Aggies over the Tigers.
Pharrel Payne scored 20 points for Texas A&M (18-5, 7-3 SEC).
Tamar Bates led Missouri (18-5, 6-4) with 16 points.
CREIGHTON 77, NO. 11 MARQUETTE 67: Steven Ashworth scored 22 points and made a season-high six 3-pointers, including one in the last minute to help the host Bluejays put away the Golden Eagles. Creighton (18-6, 11-2) moved within one game of Big East leader St. John’s.
Kam Jones scored 27 points for Marquette (18-6, 9-4).
KANSAS STATE 81, NO. 16 KANSAS 73: David N’Guessan scored 20 points and the host Wildcats beat the Jayhawks for their fifth straight win, including three against ranked opponents. Dug McDaniel added 15 points for Kansas State (12-11, 6-6 Big 12).
Hunter Dickinson scored 21 points for Kansas (16-7, 7-5).
WOMEN
NO. 25 OKLAHOMA STATE 85, NO. 12 KANSAS STATE 55: Anna Gret Asi drilled a career-high eight 3-pointers and scored 24 points, Stailee Heard had a double-double and the host Cowgirls blitzed the Wildcats.
Heard had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Oklahoma State (19-4, 9-3 Big 12 Conference).
Jaelyn Glenn had 13 points for Kansas State (22-3, 10-2) and Serena Sundell had 11.
NO. 9 TCU, 63, TEXAS TECH 42: Aaliyah Roberson had a season-high 14 points as the host Horned Frogs won their 19th consecutive home game and moved back into a share of the Big 12 lead. Madison Conner had 13 points and put TCU (22-3, 10-2 Big 12) ahead to stay with a 3 early in the third quarter. Jasmine Shavers scored 15 for Texas Tech (14-12, 3-10).
