1937 -2025 Carlsbad, CA Lucien Bone, known to all as Lou, passed away at the age of 87. Adevoted husband, brother, uncle, and great-uncle, Lou leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and community.
Lou was raised in Downey, California, and graduated from Downey High School and Compton College before beginning a career in the grocery industry. Lou and his beloved wife, Carol, shared over 55 years of marriage, building a life filled with love and companionship. They were longtime residents of Tustin, California, where Lou served his community as a City Council Member and Mayor, dedicating himself to making a lasting impact. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Downey and the Masonic Lodge of Tustin, embracing the values of brotherhood and service. Fifteen years ago, Lou and Carol retired to Carlsbad, California. Lou is survived by his loving wife, Carol, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Per his wishes, there will be no formal service. Lou will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and the many ways he enriched the lives of those around him. His legacy will live on in the community he served and the hearts of those who loved him.
