Vincent M. D’Amato, 86, left this world on March 9,2025. He passedinthe early morning hours in peaceful quiet, knowing he had the love of his family.
Vincent was born on April16,1938, in New York.
Growing upinLong Island, with many experiences that shaped hislife. Focusedon health andgetting into the Marine Corps. drovehim in hisyoung adulthood. Serving in the Marines from 1956-1958, was a huge honor for him. Transitioning to the working life took him into manufacturing and eventually to Southern California, where he'd meet and marry the love of his life, Sandy.
Later moving to Sunnyvale where their family would continue to grow. Owning a manufacturing company allowed Vincent to work in an environmentthathetru- ly enjoyed, and toretire to spend time with his family, whom he loved dearly.
Vincent is preceded in deathbyhis father, mother, sister, brother, wife Sandy, and daughters Robin and Susan. He leaves behind hisson Joseph, daughter in law Jennifer, grandchildren Angela, Vincent, Nicole, Lauren, Julia, and Derrek, andgreat grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale.
Entombment tofollow atAlta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto, CA.
