


Paris Saint-Germain didn’t allow a single shot on goal as the European powerhouse beat the Sounders 2-0 on Monday before 50,628 in Seattle.

The UEFA Champions League winners scored again in the 66th minute as the Sounders’ transition defense broke down. Seattle failed to locate Achraf Hakimi, who was wide open by the back post. Bradley Barcola’s pass found him with plenty of time to control and strike.
PSG will player Inter Miami in the round of 16.
Palmeiras 2, Inter Miami 2: Palmeiras came from behind to play Inter Miami to a draw in front of an electric crowd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and both clubs advanced to the Club World Cup round of 16.
A tie was enough to send both teams to the knockout round after they entered Monday’s match tied atop the Group A standings with four points apiece.
Inter Miami took a 2-0 lead deep into regulation on goals by Tadeo Allende in the 16th and veteran Luis Suarez in the 65th. But Palmeiras clawed back with a goal from Paulinho in the 80th and then the equalizer from Mauricio a couple minutes before the end of regulation.
Palmeiras finished as winners of Group A and will face fellow Brazilian squad Botafogo in the round of 16, while Inter Miami will face Group B winner and Messi’s former club Paris Saint-Germain.
Porto 4, Al-Ahly 4: Pepê’s goal in the 89th minute gave Porto a tie against Al-Ahly in a back-and-forth match in East Rutherford, N.J., before both teams were eliminated from the Club World Cup on goal differential.
