Two trains going into Chicago that morning, Trains 502 and 606, will each have a separate extra train. The extra train will arrive at each station just before the regularly scheduled one. Passengers who miss the first one can catch the train just behind it.
Train 502 is scheduled to arrive at Millennium Station at 9:13 a.m. Train 606 is scheduled to get there at 11:10 a.m.
The parade starts at noon at Broadway and Montrose Avenue and goes south. It is expected to last at least 2 ½ hours
After the parade, two trains will be added to the South Shore’s eastbound schedule into Indiana.
The first will leave Millennium Station at 4:25 p.m. and Van Buren Street at 4:28 p.m. The second will leave Millennium at 6 p.m. and Van Buren at 6:03 p.m.
Both eastbound extra trains will run nonstop to Hegewisch and then make all local stops up to Carroll Avenue, Michigan City. They will not go east of there.
Passengers going to Hudson Lake or South Bend should get off the trains at Dune Park and then catch Trains 507 or 509.
Last year, the extra Pride Parade trains into Chicago carried nearly 1,500 passengers.
