



Indiana star Caitlin Clark has an early lead in the fan voting for next month’s WNBA All-Star Game, the league announced Friday.
The guard received 515,993 votes and was followed by Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, who garnered 484,758. There were three other Indiana players in the top 10 with Aliyah Boston third, Kelsey Mitchell seventh and Lexie Hull (Stanford) ninth.
A’ja Wilson of Las Vegas and Breanna Stewart of New York were fourth and fifth in the balloting, respectively.
Sabrina Ionescu (Miramonte High), Stewart’s teammate, was eighth, while rookies Paige Bueckers of Dallas, in sixth, and Kiki Iriafen of Washington, in 10th, rounded out the top 10.
Wings 86, Sun 83: Paige Bueckers had 21 points and seven assists in the former UConn star’s return to Connecticut and fellow rookie Aziaha James scored 17 points in the second half, and visiting Dallas beat Connecticut.
The game featured 12 lead changes and 10 ties, the last of which came when the Sun’s Aneesah Morrow scored in the lane to make it 62-62 with 1:18 left in the third quarter. James answered 26 seconds later with a floater that gave Dallas the lead for good.
Dream 92, Mystics 91: Allisha Gray scored 18 points to lead all five Washington starters in double figures in a road win over Atlanta.
Brionna Jones scored 14 points for Atlanta (9-4) and Rhyne Howard had 13 points and six assists.
Shakira Austin made 13 of 17 from the field and finished with a career-high 28 points and 10 rebounds for Washington (5-8).
