Bicyclists have new mountain trails to enjoy.

Mountain High Resorts in Wrightwood has opened a new mountain bike park that features downhill mountain biking.

The San Bernardino County park celebrated its grand opening Saturday, June 14.

In addition to winter sports such as skiing, Mountain High is open for biking on weekends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Oct. 12, a news release states.

Three trails are available now, with each designed for a different difficulty level. Construction continues on the first phase, which will have eight trails that traverse about 8 miles, a news release states.

Aside from the trails, Mountain High has a skills park, where riders can practice techniques on features such as wooden banks and platforms.

More trails are set to be built next summer and add five more trails encompassing approximately six more miles, the release states. A spring 2027 addition is set to bring another 5 miles of trails. These paths will be more advanced.
