Disney fans were abuzz last week when Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, announced a slew of expansion plans at Disney parks worldwide while at a D23 fan club event in Anaheim, California. However, as often is the case, the addition of new attractions means saying goodbye to old ones. Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland has seen recent updates, and there are more in store. This week’s Sunday Snapshot features revamped attractions to Frontierland (Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and an updated Walt Disney World’s Country Bear Jamboree), a goodbye (Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade), a soon-to-be farewell (Tom Sawyer Island and Liberty Belle boat) and a peek at what is to come (two “Cars” rides).
