Resident of San Jose

Born to Andrew Matthew Jacksich and Lucienne Linnebrinnen in San Jose at the old O’Connor Hospital on Race St. Attended Hester Elementary, Hoover Jr. High and graduated from Lincoln High in 1964. Also attended San Jose State. Drew was the primary photographer for Lincoln’s newspaper and yearbook, as well as for all of the athletics. His photography skills mainly centered on his love of trains which he had thousands of slides as well as authored a book on trains, especially steam engines. He was amember of the Central Coast Chapter 0f the National Railway Historical Society in Santa Clara and presented a few programs over the years.

Drew drove trucks for almost 40 years for Lindsays which is now One Workplace. Special thanks to Mark Ferrari and the Ferrari family.

Drew was married to Beverly Burns (also a graduate of the 1964 class at Lincoln) and was the father of Matthew Jacksich and stepfather of Julie Elwell. He also was grandfather of Noah Jacksich and Kenny Elwell. One of his main loves was for his cats, many which were rescued.

He leaves 10 at present! We would like to thank Josh Cuevas for all of his care and devotion for the last 5 years to care for Drew.

We also would appreciate donations to a rescue organization for cats. No services planned but visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 22, from 12-8pm.
