Miracles for Mollie and Madelyn Ronaldson will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at Wilson Creek Elementary School, 25440 S. Gougar Road, Manhattan.

The event is a “Dance-off for Sandhoff” that will include six introductory dance lessons led by choreographers from The Dance Company, featuring country, hip-hop, Latin, line, swing and fortnite. There will be a silent auction and raffles, and concessions will be sold.

Two years ago, Mollie and Madelyn, ages 8 and 11, were diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease known as Juvenile Sandoff, which is life-limiting.

The fundraiser is part of the Annual Day of Hope for the National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Association, to raise funds for research to lead to an effective treatment for these rare diseases. A potential treatment is ready for clinical trial, and if funding can be secured, the trial can be started.

Participants are asked to raise or pledge $25 per person. More information and registration: ntsad. org/index.php/day-of -hope-for-mollie-and -madelyn.
