AVA BAKER MALDEN CATHOLIC Baker starred once again for the Lancers in her senior season, anchoring the blue line while recording 21 points. The two-time All-Scholastic finished her career with 71 points, leading a young Malden Catholic program to its first Div. 1 Final Four last year before a trip to the state quarterfinals this year. Baker is also a standout in field hockey and is on the President’s List academically.
LYDIA BARNES METHUEN/ TEWKSBURY A backbone of the Red Rangers’ MVC/DCL Large title and their trip to the Div. 1 state semifinals, Barnes posted a 1.08 GAA with 384 saves to earn First-Team All-Conference honors. The junior netminder has a 4.0 GPA and is an Honor Roll student on the Principal’s List.
CAROLINE DOHERTY HINGHAM Doherty’s hat trick at TD Garden to secure the Div. 1 state championship capped an iconic senior year, registering 43 goals and 20 assists as she earned Patriot League MVP honors for a fourth time. The three-time Dream Teamer shattered the Harborwomen’s all- time marks in goals (152) and points (234) in the process. She graduates Latin Cum Laude, and plays field hockey and unified track. She’s set for a post-grad year at Williston Northampton before heading to Holy Cross.
SHEA RICHARDSON HINGHAM One of the many standouts in a star-studded Hingham lineup, the sophomore notched career highs in goals (eight) and assists (23) within a well-rounded game to earn a Patriot League All-Star nod. The premier defenseman already has 47 career points and a Div. 1 state championship, and earned the league’s Rookie of the Year award as a freshman. Richardson is a High Honor Roll student, plays lacrosse, and is active in the offseason with four summer league/club teams.
KATE SULLIVAN WESTWOOD The senior center was named the MVP of the Tri-Valley League for the second straight year after a season in which she broke the school-record for career points (182). A three-sport standout, Sul- livan will play lacrosse at Connecticut College.
SARAH WHITE NOTRE DAME HINGHAM White reached the 100-point plateau in her senior season, producing 16 goals and 12 assists despite NDA tying for the toughest strength of schedule. She was a key cog in the Cougars’ trip to the Div. 1 state final last season as a two-year captain. The center made the President’s List all four years, is a member of the National Honors Society and the Spanish Honors Society, and won the Colombia University Book Award. She’s also a track all-star and heads to the University of Virginia.
