Harris polls show gender gap

Re “Democrats do have a man problem” (Oct. 20):

It is disturbing to see Barack Obama’s attempt to shame Black men into supporting VP Harris for president. He has his millions after two terms of being the only Black president of the United States and he now lives at Martha’s Vineyard which has a very low percentage of Black families. When you review the records of Obama’s two terms in office against Trump’s only term, it’s clear who did more for the Black families of America. There are many true reports of the negative dealings of Doug Emhoff and Tim Walz. Intelligent American men know who to vote for in the upcoming election.

Menendez brothers

Re “DA backs resentencing brothers” (Oct. 25):

Gascón is a joke. He can’t be booted out from office fast enough, and he knows it. So what’s the biggest nose-thumbing he can come up with as he’s clearing out his office? To release the Menendez brothers. These two lovely individuals murdered their parents in cold blood, as adult men. They were sentenced to life in prison without chance of parole. But we all know that means nothing in California. The best part is that Tik Tok and Netflix influenced this turn of events for Gascón. God help us all. Get out of California while you can, for your own sanity, and more importantly, for your safety.

Harris and the media

Re “Kamala Harris fumbles on big stage” (Oct. 26):

This editorial points out the ineptness and deficiencies of Kamala Harris.

Her campaign started with scripted comments and she refused to be interviewed by the media.

Eventually she did respond to questions from the media and when the topics were too difficult for her to respond she answered with “word salad” or changed the topic to chastising Donald Trump.

Her record speaks for itself on the economy, border security and foreign policy. Four more years of the same would be a disaster.

Imagine her as president in a shooting war based on her history and actions mentioned above and think of the outcome.

Donald Trump was president and responded positively to the economy, border security and foreign policy.
