BOULDER COUNTY
Housing Authority to sell Lafayette property for $1.95M
The Boulder County commissioners have decided to sell a vacant property in Lafayette for $1.95 million and use the profits to fund more affordable housing in the county.
The commissioners at Tuesday’s meeting approved selling the property at the northwest intersection of West South Boulder Road and Cimarron Drive to Twice Exceptional Speech Language and Educational Therapy, a medical clinic currently at 401 E. Cleveland St., in Lafayette.
The approval means that the Boulder County Housing Authority, which owns the property, can now sell it, according to county commissioner agenda materials.
Profits from selling the property will be used to help pay for new housing developments for county residents, although no specific development was mentioned, according to the agenda materials.
