Lucy Winthrop netted four goals while Emma Paquette notched five saves to reach 200 for her career as No. 2 Ipswich (17-2) came back to take down No. 7 Pentucket 9-8 in the Div. 4 girls lacrosse quarterfinals.

In the Div. 3 quarterfinals, Reese Bromby scored five times and Avery Tahnk added four more as No. 2 Newburyport (16-5) tripled up No. 10 Hanover 12-4.

Boys lacrosse

Cam McCarthy collected two tallies and an assist while 10 different players scored as No. 2 St. John’s Prep topped No. 10 Winchester 11-5 in the Div. 1 quarterfinals.

In the Div. 3 quarterfinals, Jack Peno had seven goals as No. 2 Nauset (17-4) defeated No. 7 Nashoba Regional 16-10.

Softball

In the Div. 3 quarterfinals, Edy LaTour struck out nine while going the distance as top-seeded Dighton-Rehoboth (22-2) edged No. 8 Gloucester 2-1 in eight innings. … Akiira’Ley Vazquez struck out 10 in a two-hitter while also going 3-for-4 with two RBI as No. 10 Greater New Bedford (17-8) blanked No. 2 Norton 5-0.
