Wadsworth High School senior, Jacob Wilkinson, received an honorable mention at Rotary International’s district level 4-Way Test speech contest. Jake earned the opportunity to compete by winning first place at the Wadsworth Rotary Club’s local contest. The district contest, held April 8 at Aurora High School, was comprised of 36 talented contestants from high schools throughout the district. During his interview, Jake was asked how he chose his topic “climate change.” Jake shared that he selected the topic because it was controversial, thought provoking and he wanted to give a voice to those in the world who are most impacted by the adverse effects of climate change.
