Woman sentenced for tampering
Katherine Smith, 32, of Wadsworth, was sentenced June 22 to three years of community control sanctions, with 180 days in jail, on one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Smith also pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 22.

The following people appeared in court June 26:

Brian Bauman, 44, of Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft from a person in a protected class and theft of a credit card, both of which are fifth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 4.

Patricia Ensalaco, 41, of Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 11.

Kyle Kiefer, 24, of Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft of a credit card, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 21.
