MEDINA – Barbara Salsberry, of Medina, presented veteran and local woman Susan Taylor with a special quilt from a program known as Quilts of Valor, with the mission of providing service members and veterans with comforting and healing quilts. From 1969-1972, Taylor was a captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and her family has a strong military background as her mother also served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. The quilt was pieced by Barbara Salsberry and quilted by Beth Rehling.
