LAFAYETTE – For the 16th year, local youth group Medina County Kids Care put on its Christmas show for senior residents of the Medina County Home.
More than a dozen children participated in the show Nov. 30, which included singing, dancing and more.
Twelve adults also volunteered their time, led by Rustee, Melinda and Russ Clutter and other members of the Clutter family.
Each resident received a gift from Santa and Mrs. Claus personally, as well as the kids. Refreshments were also provided.
The group is responsible for providing entertainment at the home throughout the year, including parties for the Super Bowl and Wrestlemania, along with a variety of talent shows and a horse show.
The Medina County Home has been providing daily and long-term custodial care for a few dozen residents, ranging in age from about 40 to 90, since 1894.
